Back from factorization theory conference...
Yikes! I was the only undergraduate at the conference! Apparently it was intended for grad students and faculty.
The material for the MAA conference was at a far higher level than I thought it would be- nevertheless, it was a good chance to meet old friends, in particular the advisor for my summer research program last summer. I just wish the conference had come a year later, since I have a commutative algebra class next year that would have helped me understand the conference better. Still, I think I picked up a lot from the talks, and I had fun.
Flight to Utah is next week.
