Crazy weather

It's forest fire season in Utah

Every once in a while you see a column of smoke rising up from beyond the mountains. A brush actually caught fire one block from where I'm staying a week or so ago, but the firefighters dealt with that quickly

Back in Texas, we're having torrential rains and flash floods. I doubt it's anything that I haven't been through in Malaysia, but I'm a bit concerned because my dorm rooms are under construction (I'm moving into newly-constructed dorms next fall)- I hope that the weather doesn't delay work too much.
